Gelato Tasting Excursion

Diane and I rebelled against another huge meal and instead decided to conduct a gelato tasting.
Stop # 1 Black Bar. I chose melon which had excellent flavor and texture. Diane chose coffee which was pleasantly creamy and contained bits of toffee.
Stop # 2 Marchetti Stefania I chose the chocolate which looked delicious but was disappointing. Diane's chocotate chip was also disappointing.
Stop # 3 Festival del Gelato
This one turned out to be awful - we dumped it less than 10 seconds.
Stop # 4
I chose banana which I found to be quite tasty, Diane chose tiramisu which she found "delightful - light and creamy, nice texture, swirly appealing color."
Unfortunately we were unable to try out the highly recommended spots because everything was closing down. So we will be forced to continue the tasting tomorrow.
