Beach Adventure

Great day for a swim.
I felt fortunate that on this trip to the beach I did not get yelled at by a neighbor.
It was also fortunate that we were not walking a little faster or we would have been hit by this tree that crashed across the road in front of us.

Garrett is looking forward to a visit. But he doesn't understand that Gwen won't be here. How can that be? Isn't it her home?

Coffee in Pioneer Square

Rick was kind enough to provide a tour of, not only of his law firm's office/art museum, but also a 360 degree tour of downtown including information on Seattle facts and history. (Good thing, because I don't know any of that.)

She may be 95, but Sarah proves she is still sharp as she makes an inventory of her furniture and recalls the exact price she paid for the coffee table in 1951.

She can kill you in dozens of ways

The beautiful Rachel Kiri (who happens to be my niece) is graduating (with honors) from NYU, with a major in Drama and a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Not only that, her advanced certificate in stage combat has trained her in everything from hand to hand combat to broadswords.

These two big seagulls outside my mom's window were trying to tell us something by pecking on the window and squacking.
