International Weekend

International Students from around the Sound are congregating on Mercer Island.

From BHS: Pablo from Argentina, Melissa from Germany, and Valentin from Austria. Valentin plans to keep a low profile since his lacrosse team clobbered Mercer Island earlier in the week.

Totally Wet Lacrosse Match

Unlike the tennis match which was cancelled because of rain, the lacrosse game was on.
Our boy, Valentin was great.
Heavy rain conditions.

During half-time they got a break from running in the rain and got to stand in the rain.

Valentin displays perfect shielding form.


Bainbridge beat Mercer Island, about 15 to 3.

Exchange Student, Valentin

Valentin is from Austria, but that does not necessarily mean he likes mountain climbing, or classical music, or the movie, The Sound of Music.

Valentin is from Graz, to be exact, which is the second largest city in the country and a big university town.
