Infrared Information #1
I get a lot of questions from my my blog readers asking about infrared photography. How did you learn about it? Can you take pictures at night? Does it allow you to see through people's clothes? All very good questions. Today's blog is the first in a series of informational entries dealing with the art and science of INFRARED PHOTOGRAPHY.

It was in my previous life as a medical photographer where I first learned about infrared photography. Here is an example of a possible medical use - to map subcutaneous vein patterns. Fascinating? You bet. Hints on getting those veins to show up: finding a subject with fair hair and low body fat, and holding your photography session right after their meal.
