(UPI) BAINBRIDGE ISLAND
While many residents of Kitsap county queued up before stores opened to rush in and buy up the supply of generators and portable TVs in the event that power was not restored by Super Bowl gametime, a group of high school girls came up with an alternative plan. They assembled at Battle Point park and held their own Super Bowl. The rumor that the group of boys who cheer on the girls' volleyball team by running by, their bare chests brightly painted, were on hand as half-time entertainment, is unconfirmed.
