I have to say it was fun being part of the first Livestrong Challenge event here in Seattle. The organization raised over $1 Million for cancer research.
I enjoyed being cheered on by my friends and am so appreciative of their financial support to make my entry possible.
Maybe next year we'll get more of the group to participate as riders and walkers (they have a 5K walk too). I like this event because it targets research for all forms of cancer.
Thank you Marilynn for taking some very nice photos of me crossing the finish line and cheering me on.
