Ulysses

I started a new art project, based on a favorite familiar theme - bicycles! My first subject was Ulysses who was very supportive of my endeavor. His passion is to live in Southern California and be able to surf, and he feels like he has fulfilled his dream. But he also has a job. He is an ER doctor. (Was that just a line? Will he tell the next photographer that he's an astronaut?) No, he was a real doctor because he warned me about the bad drivers out this weekend and how he had to deal with the aftermath. That is just the kind of thing a doctor would say. (Like my mom's constant warnings about motorcycles after dealing with the aftermath of those accidents.) He built the surfboard holder on the back of his bike. Other surfboarders have a side rack or carry their boards, but I like this one.
