Rick's big birthday
Doing skyscraper photograpy in the big city, I horned in on Rick's birthday lunch.
These two have been together too long. They attended law school together, where apparently one of the classes was, "Casual Style for the Practicing Lawyer." Check out that attire- are they dressed like normal lawers on a regular work day downtown? To be even more casual, Rick doesn't even show up at his office until at least noon every day.

Now, the plain fact is that Dan and I became friends when, one day early in our first year in law school, while the entire section was standing around these huge coffee urns between classes, I called out, "Does anyone here want to talk about something other than law?" Dan was the only person who responded. So we were always kindred spirits.
